Welcome to the
Latta Middle School Library
- Students are able to check out books every other week and books can be kept for a 2-week period. 8th graders can check out a maximum of 3 books and 6th/7th graders can check out a maximum of 2 books.
- Students are also allowed to check out other items including books on tape/CD, Playaways, videos (VHS or DVD), flash drives, and digital cameras with parent permission for a period of 1 week.
- Students should be reminded to return books and other materials ON TIME to avoid any late fees! Overdue fines are 5 cents a day per item. Reference materials may be checked out overnight, and they must be returned by homeroom the next day.
Students must have a permission form, ON FILE in the library before they are allowed to check out books on tape/CD, Playaways, videos (VHS or DVD), flash drives, or digital cameras. Please see the resource section of this page to download a copy of the form!
